About Mandy

Emotional pain, relationship struggles, and periods of transition are part of being human, and each person’s experience is unique. As a Social Worker and Psychotherapist at The Arterie, my approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where your experiences are met with care, curiosity, and respect. Our work begins with understanding your concerns within the context of your life, relationships, and inner strengths, and unfolds at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with families, couples, adolescents, and adults navigating the impacts of trauma, anxiety, attachment difficulties, grief, emotional challenges, life changes, and struggles with communication. Together, we work to make sense of patterns that feel overwhelming or stuck, while supporting greater emotional awareness, resilience, and connection.

My practice is grounded in formal training across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, allowing our work to be thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals. I am a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and Individuals, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). I integrate these approaches in a flexible and intentional way, guided by what feels most meaningful, supportive, and effective for you.

I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto, specializing in Children and Families. My personal, professional, and spiritual learning continues through ongoing training, including Timeless Wisdom Training and Global Social Witnessing Facilitator Training. My intention is to offer a range of options and perspectives as we work collaboratively on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth.
