I have dedicated the past 20 years of my career to helping clients navigate life challenges and seek growth through the insights and support that psychotherapy can offer. I practice from a client-centred perspective, using mainly a psychodynamic approach, and aim to incorporate evidence-based techniques, drawing from a variety of tools and modalities, to help clients achieve their goals. Currently accepting new clients of all ages for individual, family, and couples’ therapy.

With over a decade of experience in mental health, I am dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages, including children, youth, families, and adults. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, tailored to each individual's unique needs. We specialize in working with individuals, couples and families that are challenged by the impacts of trauma, family conflict, life transitions and general mental health issues like anxiety, depression and stress. We offer an affordable therapy plan through our interns, Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, under the supervision of Patricia Ramos, Registered Psychotherapist and Supervisor.

Zahra Khalfan is a BIPOC therapist who specializes in working with children and adolescents. The primary modality she uses is play therapy and her work is collaborative with parents. With a background in clinical psychology; Zahra takes a holistic approach in understanding her clients and the families she works with.
