Alicia House,  MMT, MTA, RP (Q)

Location: Burlington

Hello! I am a Board-Certified and Accredited Music Therapist, as well as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). As a creative arts clinician, I firmly believe that engaging with the arts has a way of breaking barriers and giving people the motivation to overcome.

With this focus in mind, I completed a Master of Music Therapy Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. I was trained in music-centred psychotherapy, as well as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness techniques.

I specialize in music psychotherapy and adapted music lesson services for children on the autism spectrum, as well as teens with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am rooted in a holistic approach to wellness and believe that music is an outward expression of the inner self.

I would love the opportunity to partner with you on your wellness journey!
